STCW - Crowd Management

This course is mandatory for all those working on vessels that take over 12 passengers

Description

The STCW Crowd Management course teaches seafarers how to manage crowds in emergencies on passenger ships. The course covers communication, safety procedures, and using emergency equipment. 

This course covers:

  • How to control a crowd in an emergency
  • How to locate safety equipment
  • How to communicate with passengers to help them to the muster station

In an emergency, the crew needs to manage the crowd to protect the lives of everyone on board by ensuring they evacuate the ship safely.

 

This course can be completed as an add-on to the full STCW Basic Training Week, as a separate course at BMA Headquarters or in-house (or on-board) training for larger groups.

Prerequisites

You must already have completed STCW Basic Training Full Week
